Bosnian, Serbian, Montenegrian and Croatian are the same language. It's really not inappropriate for a Serb to use 'sretan' or for a Croat to use 'srećan'. 'Srećan' derived from 'Sretjan' which derived from 'Sretan'. I've heard Croats say 'srećan' and Serbs say 'sretan'.

And here's a question for you. If 'Sretan' is exclusive to Croatian, why do they say 'Sreća' instead of 'Sreta'? Because both are correct. Thank you.

I can't see a lot difference between Croat and Serb.Well there is but now a lot it's almost same.For me Serbian is little harder then croat.I watch HBO croatian and HRT1 and HRT2 that's why
