Halp, I've got no crosshair!

1 ok first and most immportant question are you using steam.

2 have you got your video mode set to open gl

3 what was you doing at time the crosshair vanished

yes I'm using steam yes my video mode is set to open gl and the cross hair was gone from the beginning of when I tried playing the game sometimes it appears for a few seconds and then disappears again. I've tried re-installing steam, half-liife, esf and still I get the same problem please someone help me I want to play.

i got the same problem. my resolution is at 1680x1050, im using steam, and im set to OpenGL. so i don't think its a resolution problem. the crosshair appears wen i aim at certain spots on the map.

Try crosshair 1 or cl_crosshair 1 in console.

It's not a resolution problem I've tried using all of them and the cross hair still didn't show up The crosshair 1 or cl_crosshair 1 command didn't do anything either.

I loved the earlier version of esf and I really want to play but it's too difficult to hit someone with a beam without a crosshair Why me?
