People wont just stop playing hl1 just cus hl2 is out, hl1 has lived out All these new 3d games, it wont die, not for a long time after hl2 is out, very long time

Maybe the staff should make an announcment on the forums or somthing so it can clear this up. Cause alot of n00b ESF players will prolly sign up from here till HL2 is released asking if it will be converted.

I dunno if there is a sticky or an announcment, but it'd be good to make. Just my 2 cents

You have to remember that hl has been out for about 4 or 5 years now. All good things must eventually come to an end.

Yeah it has been going a long time, and you've gotta admit it's drying up. Many mods switching to HL2, plus TF2, CS2... if HL2 does as well as expected, HL isn't going to be played any more simply because it's not necessary.
