Half-Life 2 VS Doom 3

I honestly don't care why you chose which one, but post why if you feel like it. Just don't start harassing people for enjoying one or the other.

This is a simple "pick whick one you like more" nothing else. None of that "I hate them both" bull**** or "They can't be compared" because they can. They are both FPS that claim to be revolutionary.

Just vote, don't fight. Love each other.

While I love them both, it's kind of hard to decide.

I love Doom 3's atmosphere and suspension. I just love how it can make you jump so easily.

I love half life 2's gameplay and story (from what I've learned). I love it's physics. So by a narrow line, half life 2 wins in my mind.

Half Life 2. While Doom 3 was able to combine amazing graphics with an excellent atmosphere, it failed to provide me with good gameplay. Half Life 2, on the other hand, is simply amazing, and I find it fulfilling every aspect of an FPS - Good story, Amazing gameplay, amazing graphics, and also an amazing atmosphere. Tleast so far, Im not very far in the game

Half Life 2 hands down.

I voted HL2, i havn't played it yet. But i played doom3, and it sucked. The graphics where awsome, but the gameplay sucked, it was so slow paced and the damn flashlight thing was enough to make me rip out my harddrive and throw it in teh microwave....

Half-life 2 is better, but that doesn't mean that Doom 3 is a bad game. I love both, but I like Half-life 2 more. I like it more, becuase of a few reasons:

1. ran smoother on my computer
2. PHYSICS
3. AI
4. CS:S

Doom3 doesn't even compare to Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2 is in a completely different league to Doom3. HL2 has heaps better game play, Physics, way better multiplayer plus its alot more fun to play. Doom3 is just crap, well it does have one good point, the Exit button.

Doom 3 did not suck, Half-Life 2 just proved to be better.
