Wasn't set up or anything. Yeah, I do use Captions, they're helpful, I don't have a hearing problem or anything, I just prefer them. I'll post some more if I get some good ones.

i am just at the part "nova *something*" in the story, just about to walk across the alley of a junk yard look alike place lol...

this game has give me a few scares every now and then lol

It is the 2nd grav gun you recieve later on in the game, you can pick up corpses.

Kaination, that "big robot thing" is just a combine soldier, and you had to have fought him.

64bit AMD Athlon XP 3200+ CPU?

i have /\ CPU and the game is smooth all the way through, running the game on high (clocked) - no problems

Thanks for the tip on how to get the funky super manipulator at the start, i've had loads of fun chucking soldiers at each other, until I accidentally picked up a land cruiser in the garage and the FPS dropped to 1FPS
