Ok been learning guitar and what not and I'm gonna go buy my own set of stuff. I knoew a few people here play guitar and I'd like some opinions on which set to buy. I've pretty much narrowed it down to these 3.

I'm most inclined towards option one.

ps.... and if anyone could tell me the format to type like a word, and have it clickable into a hyperlink that would be appreciated, i forgot...

#1 the "Metal"

Which one feels and sounds the best to you? The best advice I can give is to shop around, visit stores around your city and try out lots of stuff.

i'm just going to buy a kit to be economic i guess. i'm not very good and ai dont need anything amazing, just descent. if i was looking to upgrade to something nice i would go around to stores.

we only have one music store, and it doesnt have any of these guitars.

i'm inclined towards options one and 2, maybe gonna lean towards 2 now, simpy because it has more features and a scratch guard, and i cant find much info on the other guitar.

3 looks cool and all but it has its share of horrible feedback

Dont get option 3, I HATE B.C Rich guitars, a know a couple people who have a few different ones and every single one is uncomfortable and awkward, so I advise you to not get that one.

Now for option 1 and 2. Ibanez is a good choice, they make good guitars. Although I haven't played a lower model Ibanez guitar, I do own an RGT42BP, which is around 800 dollars or so. I say go for option 1, simply because A) it is a little more expensive, and B) it seems more like my Ibanez (as well as most other Ibanez guitars), while option 2 seems more like a Strat or something. It may not be the best thing to go off, but thats what I would say. Unless of course, you want a whammy bar, then you have to go with option 2, but otherwise, go for #1.

Really though, the best thing you could do is go and try out guitars for yourself. If your just beginning though, it isn't as paramount, but it really is the best thing you could do if you have the choice.

yeah im hearing bad things about the rich, i just threw that in there so my poll would be bigger. but they sure do look neat dont they.

i think i might go with option 2, but damn i dont know

if i went with 2 upgrading to a strat wouldnt be any problem, strats are all around good guitars, idk

Really, either option is fine, and they probably aren't really that different. If you have no way of trying out any guitars similar to those 2, then basically just go with your gut. Pick the one you think looks cooler or something.

Basically, if your thinking about going option 2, then go option 2. Both guitars are gonna be very similar, and if that choice is the first one that comes to your mind, then go for it, because that will be the better one.

I personally like a mix, Rock/Punk/Surf/Classic but getting proper guitar lessons really helps but if I had to tell you, start on acoustic, the swap over is easier.
