Got steam but can't play the game?! Help?

I downloaded b 1.2 and the patch 1.2.1 but as soon as i start with steam, it goes back to browse games and i get a report that i need to buy the game :S. Anybody got a clue how to fix this?!?

Got HalfLife & Cs & Cs : CZ & steam.. so?

Install Half-Life onto steam first, then install ESF. Make sure you actually BOUGHT the game, otherwise it won'tregister.

I'll tell it again.. I bought Half Life Generation Pack. then I have installed half Life & cs. Then downloaded steam, Then downloaded and installed ESF and installed b1.2 after that the 1.2.1 patch. Then i get the report that i need to buy esf :S And bought the game
