First of all its a rule here.
Second just to make sure you got a legal copy of Half-life.
Thirth everyone here is using steam anyway.
So get steam and registrate your CD key there and for sure you will get support from here.
That is if you have a legal copy ^^
Its a mirricle that the admins here wont give you a certain time to get a proper steam account with an registered CD key on it with half-life.
Saves them a lot of spam since they are not going to help you with out if you dont have steam.

What's wrong with you not wanting to buy HL? If we condone illegal downloading of games, ESF may be shut down. Thus, if we start helping you because you are to lazy to buy a freaking 10 dollar game, we would be helping the pirate industry and Valve will not like us for that.OK. No steam - no support. How can i beleve in that steam, if i forgot the username and pw, there goes esf and half life. And with that freaky 10 dolars, im a 12 years boy. That's what are am not sure!!!

Not having a legal copy of Half-Life (Steam)-> No Support -> No Source Code -> topic closed.
