Gmod for Half-life 2

I recently found this mod, called Garry's mod lol, How original..

So you've played Half-Life 2... and you loved it. Now you want to mess around with the physics. This is what my mod is for. I wanted to mess around with the physics too and that's why I made this mod. You could say that I made this mod just to mess around with the physics - but then released it to the public. PHYSICS.
So, what do you want to do? Do you want to..
-String a combine soldier up and fire dolls at him?
-Conserve fuel?

Features
Ragdoll Poser (First for a mod ever?)
Rope objects and people together
Weld objects and people together
Add motorized wheels and control their speed
Place a camera and watch it on your HUD
Shoot 100's of props out of your RPG
Attach manhacks and scanners to objects and corpses

This mod Is pretty funny, Here's a few screenshots of stuff I made..

Well Why dont I set up a server right now?!.. *starts up steam* , I'll wait for another reply and post my IP and instruction on how to join a mp game if I need to

I can't get it to play, i gues i need to update hl2... but i dunno how, it says to restart steam and i do, but nothing gets updated... and same if i start hl2

You'll need Gmod V3a, And map BuildingBlocks_final,
Also I got a TS server up aswell... Same IP.

I went to your server for a smidge. Got a few questions though--

1. How do you talk to each other? When i binded a key to chat and teamchat commands they did nothing and didnt come up as errors. Also I couldnt name myself.

2. I see people as Gman, but I saw myself as nothing. Any way to change the model?

3. When i join your game, the menues for garry's mod dont appear when i switch to gun and my hud is missing, but when i make my own, it's there.

P.S. - I was the one throwing barney around

Well I shut the server down... Well.. Not quite... It crashed, Becuase I attatched APC wheel to the pole in the middle of the map and Made it go over 75 mph and spawned a zombie And It was instagibbed.. (actually disapeared =\ )
Hmm, I Guess that's why No one stayed longer then 2 mins.. becuase They couldnt see there HUD...
When I created a HL2 multiplayer server online, I relized we couldnt talk.. Even If we binded keys to say...
When I first saw you join, you were the Gman model.. I was like WHAT...the hell... I thought to myself *I didnt spawn that... wtf?! OMG ITS MOVING* Then It followed me for a few second's then a gravity gun appeared out of his pants and flung a dead barney at me and I died.. AH a player LOL..
Hmm.. Hopefully Garry will modify the mod for multi player.. Oh did you load my saved game? lol.. Good times...

thats also why I created the TS server.. its down now..
