What exactly do you do on the new maps? I was under the impression that they were made not as straight DM-style maps.

bleh.

they are standard death match. old bones is a good map. the other one is trash.

raven down is an insanely small map, each team starts with 2 players paired, maps sort of shaped like a cross.

theres like 1 set of grenades on the map. no other weapons. i dont like it.

and they changed other stuff in the patch as well I think, it seems wierd.

i like the minor graphics twitches and stuff they added though.

I really like both of the new maps just because they both seem to have a lot of frantic cover areas that make a lot of cool firefighting possible. When I was fighting my friend solo on there, it was like we were two swat team members dueling, heh.

they shotguns are just godly now...

sorry about that lousy game today pride. i had like 4 friends over and every time some1 died they passed controllers and the one just kept hiding with a sniper rifle.

i was just standing around with the magnum when i played.

That's alright, man. I figured as much.

I don't think they made the shotgun's better, I think they just made it so the host's is no longer more effective.

i'm seeing alot farther accurate shots with the shotgun. lots of headshots and stuff too.

could just be alot of luck, but its a rising trend.

That's my point. The host used to have that "as-intended" shotgun ability and nobody else could.

just got all my online echievements except for 10 rounds in a row and host and complete 50 ranked matches.
