I reinstalled my Windows XP today as well as my ESF, but now when i play on the internet there is some sort of delay. Sometimes when I press "a" to stafe left, it reacts 2-3 seconds later. Also the keyboard won't work well with the mouse. It is like this for all my mods, can someone help me? Thanks in advance.

Ugh, i had this problem when I installed XP with CS. I wish i could help but I just re-installed one day and it was gone. I don't know if that's what did it, or if there is another easier way of getting rid of that problem, but it worked for me.

The only real help i can recommend ( I dont know if it'll work, just a shot in the dark) Try updating your OS, go to www.windowsupdate.com and get all of the critical and recommended updates. Also, make sure you have the latest DirectX.

Have you tried updatingeverything i suggested? If you have, post your specs. I'll see if i can think of anything else you could do.

Err, yes, that happened to me a long while back ago too. My prob that I was running in direct3d and it has some sort of "gl_ztrick" I recommend using OpenGL, but if you can't use it, add "gl_ztrick 0" to your config.cfg or autoexec.cfg (not sure wich one) in your esf folder. If the same thing still occurs, go to your half-life\valve\hw\ directory and find "d3d.cfg" and change the gl_ztrick in there (use notepad or something to open it).
After that, my problem was fixed.
