game crashes

ok i finally got steam up and running . ive got 1.2 installed with the 1.2.2 patch installed . it seems about 1 min or less after playing the game freezes and that annoying repeating sound keeps going and basically freezes the whole system (i cant even ctrl alt del out of it) so i have to do a hard reboot on my pc(which pisses me off) .....any fixes anyone?

btw if i need to get 1.2.3 or whatever where do i find it esf down and esf-world is german and wont download anyway

fool , esf-world is also in english , u can find the 1.2.3 installer there , it's probably your hl , reinstall that then esf , then c what happenes

EDIT: you mite want to get the 1.2.1 installer aswell , i once installed esf skipping the 1.2.1 patch install and i had probs with that , so install 1.2.1 b4 any of the other patches , or just get the 1.2.3 full installer

right but is there a site where i can get 1.2.3 without using less than dial up speed on esf world? also when u download from esf-word ITS IN GERMAN!! and doesnt download when the timer stops

When the timer stops, you have to click the link to download.

lol well i know that but it never downloads and im not going to screw with trying to read german cause for some reason it wont work for a lot of people so i will either figure it out or i will just keep playing ragnarok
