Without FUNi, 97% of you would never have known about DBZ, and this mod wouldn't exist.

Hell, I never would have discovered DBZ on my own..probably wouldn't be watching anime right now, either.

FUNi may have butchered dbz, but they made it known.
they're also doing a fantastic job with Blue Gender and Yu Yu Hashuko...much better than DB or DBZ..

I don't like the company for reasons other than "they made dbz sux0rs!"
I don't like them because they're corporate sellouts who pander for the allmighty dollar.
Other than that...I'm liking the overall job they've done with the anime series that they've dubbed.

yeah..
well..I might have been one, but later..

the first anime series I REALLY got into was robotech...but then there was a lapse of a few years..and I forgot about robotech, basically..
then..dbz came along..
and..I was never the same..
when I got money, I dumped into anime..

I've already seen Cowboy Bebop in japanese..I own the entire series..

I've seen DBZ in japanese as well..

I've seen akira, Blood, Macross Plus, GW:EW, Vampire Hunter D and Bloodlust(done originaly in english, mind you)
Macross/Robotech..the series that started it for me

u know dbz was orginally on upn and saban(power ranger dude) was the one that hosted it. i dont really like the japanese versions of dbz goku sounds like a ***** dude. but i tell ya man i love lain in japanese and in english i have both the versions (4 in english 4 in japanese) but overal id rather have the voices redun in english so i dont have to read. by the way ive been into anime since transofrmers came out so thats roughly 13 years

I really don't care about censoring a little blood here an there, tho, Majin...it gets almost pointless if they make it TOO bloody.....the human body can only bleed so much, ya know..

Goku sounds funny because he was voiced a woman.
The same woman did gohan and goten, too

Neon Genesis is awesome, Chimpbot, although I've never seen the whole series, I've seen some of it, and it is very well done IMO.

They're done by japanese artists in the anime style...which is just the japanese look of animation..

Is it because they're based off of novels, not manga?
Is it because Bloodlust was originaly recorded in English?
Is it because the first D movie had crunchy animation?
It is because they're just movies, not a tv series?
Is it because they're vampire movies?

Please, give me a legitimate reason for saying that my favorite movie series isn't anime..which, again, is just what americans call japanese animated movies
and those 2 films are, in fact, japanese animated movies.

D was never a comic series..just a 20-volume novel series
he's a dhampire....dunpeal in bloodlust...they're the same thing, though

what..you need loads of character information and devlopment for you to consider something anime?

yeah, that's nice some times....but other times...it just gets in the way

what we know about D is what we NEED...that's what makes the character fun..
you know he's a badass with a long, mysterious past...
the plots a more than decent..

what more could you need?
