Uncover, you surprise me in every post you make. I'm beginning to think you're the smartest person on this forum, but you're just ****ing with us to have a good laugh. The charade is up man, it was good while it lasted.

I'll play along for this one though. Frieza does sound and look like a girl. He is clearly a guy. This is most likely because of the difference in Japanese and American culture, feminine characters are a bit more badass over there, or so i'm led to believe.

100% correct, good sir. Another example is how people groan and complain about Sonic's "pinky swear" line in Sonic and the Secret Rings. People complain that it's childish, even for the younger players. Thats american culture. In Japan, pinky swearing = a major promise between two people and is used even up through the teenage years. Our cultures are simply different like that. What we might find silly or out of the ordinary here, may be a dead serious subject in Japan.

femine character are more badass!? how!? if I recall that Japanese are the race who most freaky worship the femine character(you can see the most anime and manga are occupied by the feminized character or female).

Male characters with feminine qualities is nothing new to anime or even games of Japanese origin. It's just a part of the style. Look at Amano's artwork for some of the FF characters. The ones that are most definately males still look very feminine by our standards.

then how come he has a girly look...and girly voice!?
His normal Japanese voice is deep, but does have an upward pitch. This is evident in many of the villains of Dragon Ball Z. It's kinda like how Cell only has one voice, but FUNimation decided to **** with things, and change his voice between forms, because they're ****ing stupid. The dub is dumb. It's simple.

When you base everything on a dub, you get diluted facts.

You know where that form of swearing came from? when the English used to battle the French, and the English lost or were captured, the French used to cut off the fingers of all the English longbow men so they could never fire a bow again. If victorious in battle the English would hold up two fingers in a mocking way, basically saying we've still got our fingers. Just thought I'd throw that in here.

Frieza isnt really that femine... look at all his forms, first he's a midget with an attitude problem, then he's some hench bloke, then he's... an alien, then he's lord of the universe. He's an alien, who knows maybe his kind are A sexual like Namekians.

This case of rogue moding has deserved a warning
.

If you don't like a specific topic, or someone else's opinion is enough to find nothing better to say, but something derogative, then don't post all... and ignore the thread.

It's the staff's decision whether a thread remains open or not.

It's seriously just some harmless question, that people have corrected or found a little humor within.

Actually John, Frieza is a male alien.
On-Topic: If Frieza was intended to be a girl, don't you think that he would've been drawn with breasts? And even though he sounded female in the english dub, hes name was changed to Freezer(a more manly name).

femine character are more badass!?
They're not more BADASS per se, they're just more cheap. Frieza, for example, destroyed the core of planet Namek to make it easier for Goku to die, instead of just fighting him face to face.

Orochimaru keeps stealing techniques instead of learning them by himself.

Feministic characters represent cheapness, more than a "badass" aspect.

They can also be made to represent innocence and naiveness though, like Shinji from Evangelion. Or at least that's what the mexican dubbing tells ya. :p

Cheapness also represents evil - no honor, no sense of principles, no nothing. But this kind of evil isn't "badass", it's simply cheap.
