Free Website to learn to read/write Japanese?

pretty basic concept, know any good free websites that can teach how to read and write in japanese?

i doubt it, since one of the most important parts of japanese is the pronounciation. the entire meaning of a word of phrase can change purely on how its pronounced. not to mention some of the basic sounds are annoying =/

go buy a linguaphone set, or find a class. if your under 18 it should be free anyway.
