first bug!

It doesnt work -_-

Ive tried almost every combination of settings including the straight out of the archive defaults, and, it crashes on the "Parsing game info..." when joining or creating a game.

1.2.3 runs perfectly on my machine also...

(drivers updated only a few months ago btw.)

I'm not sure if you actually joined the #esf-help channel, but did you try different display modes as well? If you're not already using opengl, see if that works.

esf 1.2.3 workes fine ... i'll make a screenshot of the error because in the console it says something is missing maybe it's something related to that but if it would be that everyone would have the same problem so i doubt it .... but i'll edit this one when i get to that ....

ohh and i also tried all visual options and other settings same thing and of course the default exact after i copy the game in my hl folder same thing every time .... and i allways used openGL ....

Okay... One or both of you PM me please. I have no idea what the issue is, but we can do some testing with custom server/client dlls. That is, unless harsens knows Lemme go nudge him too...

Er... How did you even get to that console? Are you guys on steam or old school WON? Just to put it out there, we do not support WON anymore, and strongly urge to upgrading to steam.

Won is the thing you get when you install Half Life 1 from the CD.



Youll need STEAM. Get it at www.steampowered.com

Oh and STEAM only works with legaly bought versions of Half Life.

lol... well im not using won

The game freezes, I have to use C+A+D to quit... I cant get into the console because its frozen though...

Mist, did you need to update your half-life version 1.1.0.8 to v1.1.1.0?
I know ESF b1.2.3 worked fine for me when I was on v1.1.1.0 half-life...

There's also an un-official update to HL v1.1.1.1, but I haven't tried it before... I only use WON HL when Steam isn't working right.

Also, thanks for putting up that screenshot... I think I just noticed why bot personalities, skill settings and waypoints don't work properly now.
I just spent a couple of hours trying to figure that one out...
