I think it's success is unquestionable, it's already sold over 1 million, 8 thousand copies in under a month. And that's before it is released in the West.
As for the story, it does seem to have the same depth of storyline as FFVII (I know this from a lot of pro-FFX-2 ranting from a friend of mine) so it all looks to make a pretty incredible game.
And on top of all this, who among you can say that you aren't tempted by an all women party?

Im sorry to disagree but i think FFX-2 will be the biggest piece of trash for a long while. Ive seen the introdction to the game, and it actually made me feel quit sick. Id heared the rumours but didnt think it was true. Yuna has been made a pop idol. Why? Because the sang a few notes in the first game it makes her a full fledged singer?
The whole thing looks like one big rip off of charlies angels and i actually felt embarrassed for squaresoft while i was watching the intro. They are an awesome games company and have made some rediculously good games in the past, but from what ive seen i dont think im going to like anything about FFX-2. Well thats just my opinion.
