Ok Ive been playing Half-life since 1999 
and I would hear ppl talk about cvars all the time and I brushed it off because I just wanted to kill ppl so I didn't care, but now I have a few questions.
What is a cvar? :confused
And if I should know what to do with them, what can I do or could I do with them? :confused
Whats this I hear about changing Half-life to make it look better for fast computers and make it look alittle worse for slow computer. How do I do this if its possible? :confused
I know im asking alot but it would help me greatly to have a good explinatoin for each.
