thats a pretty broad answer, there hasnt been a final fantasy game yet where nobody used a sword,

including enemies, you probly just named over 100 characters that are your favorite,


mine would have to be squall, reason being, his ingame personality is near a exact copy of my own, he said and thought everything that i would have in the same situation, though the game wasnt as good as some people would like, i just happened to identify with squall alot, and i fell very deep into the storyline of the game cuz of that,
