technically if you want to make it true to physics this beam is just a wave of energy and doesnt have the correct properties to explode on any objects, it neutralizes them.

so if you want the game to be more true to physics the engulfing way is the right way to go

Scientifically, people cant put on fancy light shows with their hands though. I like the idea of strong beams engulfing other players, but Im not such a fan of removing the explosions.

Well if Signature moves that were used in a Beamstruggle would engulf. Mind you this could not work at all with Generic beams nor could it work with Ball attacks. Ball attacks should explode differently then generic beam attacks. Perfect example of signature moves engulfing would be the fight between Cell and Gohan. After the Beamstruggle Gohans Kamehameha engulfed Cell and vaporized him. I think that it would be perfect if the team added this feature in for Beamstruggles. As of right now it just explodes and nothing cool really happens. This little feature would be the icing on the cake.

i say, it engulfs them doing a little hp over time until they break out (from behind it would just be a normal explosion i guess) if it kills them it explodes utterly destroying the enemy, or if you hit a wall it also explodes
