ESF-WON with steam

I think its all fine and dandy that there are like 5 treads showing how to get esf on steam, what if I wanna play esf WON when I have steam, pple i know can do it but I dont know how to, can someone PLEASE explain to me how I do this, I miss esf .

Go into Half-Life (like regular one) and go to Custsom Mod or whatever, load it up and it should work.

I did that and it worker but when I tried to join anysever h crashed and I mean ANYSEVER i tried like 15, no I cant even do that, steam did a upgrad thing and now in hl folder the exe is gone. SO I dont know wtf to do.

Try to reinstall Half-Life then... Steam may have erased the necessary files in order to run HL ingame.
