esf out of date

when i am trying to create a game for internet, my pc says that my esf version is currently out of date, i have esf 1.1 and half-life 1.1.1.0, please help me

ehm.. try to reinstall everything as the following

1: uninstall hl and esf first *edit*
2: delete compleet hl folder.
3: install hl
4: update it to 1.1.1.0
5: install esf.
6: play

He should uninstall everything first, then completely del the hl folders, or else windows still thinks hl is installed.
