ESF on CS

How would I get ESF to work on Counter-Strike. I downloaded it to C:/Sierra/Counter-Strike. but it Still doesn't work.

Try putting it in the sierra folder and not the cs folder?

esf has to be in this folder:
c:\sierra\counter-strike\esf\

and of course you need counter-strike retail, not the mod you can dl

It reads C:/Sierra/Counter-Strike/esf....and it still doesn't work. I bought Counter-Strike from best buy so I thought that was retail. Also, I can't hit the DBZ ESF icon. It downloaded but i can't play it...open it...or anything

have you tried to play counter-strike? if it works, you have the retail-version
also make sure you downloaded the newest patch for cs

open the esfbeta100 file and when it asks you for directory, install to
C:/Sierra/Counter-Strike/ for retail
C:/Sierra/Half-Life/ for half life retail

It is installed on to my Counter Strike folder, and my Counter Strike does work so I know it is Retail. But I have no clue what to do now, it still doesn't work. The icon doesn't show for me to click on it or anything.
