Yea thats also something I'd watch guys cause when I was deleting my ESF folder I kept tryin to delete my models folder but ti says its in use then I noticed a hidden file that wouldn't show up finally I got rid of it so it might have been a model so watch what you dl. Either it was a dl or some kind of hacked model I dunno though.

These are serious allegations, and require not only serious attention but serious proof. I will need some IP addresses/won id's as well.

Actually i wouldn't doubt hackers. I was with this kids yesterday and they were showing me how they got this program that raises there pl to what ever they want and if u try killing them with melee once they hit 30 health its a auto death do u can never get a frag on them

Shame guys, personally i think somethign fishy is going on. I have read somewhere about people using backdoors to gain access to servers, but i have never seen anything like it before. I just hope something is done about it. And clans dont suck, why spam.

yes, honestly from reading this all it just sounds like someone got owned then decidedto make them pay, like getting them banned or something. Cuc offered to look at the "proof", yet Auron-Ox's
excuse for not showing proof is that he can't post them. Your story has holes in it, and just cuz your cmop died doesn't mean it was somebody else, maybe you took poor care of it :\ In conclusion, i see no reason why we should even believe what is said by these people, until the get their act together and stop posting allegations and start showing proof. Send those pics to cuc them, and then we'll see if you're right. I also would also be checking your ip's, if i were a mod, to see if this isn't just one kid, who's posing as many, who is trying to get everyone all riled up for a "hacker hunt"

All I know is I played in the Ox server last night, and you *******s threw me out, and I didn't even do anything wrong.

Good fighters but none that proved unbeatable. No one seemed to be trying, though--the PLs were all massive. I hit some dude that was waiting to block struggle, and I apologized. While I was typing the apology he hit me back; I let it go anyways. Then some guy, hsi name was something like Black or Dark N00blar or some such ****, offered to kick me. The vote came up, I asked why, and bam--gone.

LAME. I was getting some sick performance that night, too!! WTF

Ok... way to go off into a clan debate. Time to shut up now and either let this thread die or get back on track. It's one thing to hear a bunch of hacking allogations without evidence to back them, it's another thing entirely to hear someone get into a flame war with one of the clans involved. This is why ESForces doesn't host a clan forum anymore.

Here's where I'm coming from: I read the topic "ESF hackers" and after reading through more than two pages I see no evidence of anything. This is proceeded by one guy giving his life story (intentional exageration) and telling everybody how he doesn't like Ox because they threw him out of a server without telling him why. Now Ox is trying to defend themselves but nobody seems to remember what this topic is about. I'm not actually sure this topic was ever about anything more than stirring up a ruccus, because I haven't seen a damn thing proven other than the fact that a few of you don't like clans.

Why the witchhunts? We don't need them. Don't like clans? Don't join one, and don't start crap. They threw you out... how does that have anything to do with anything regarding this thread? Clans "sux0rz" huh? Then don't join one. We don't need that kind of garbage stacked inside the empty crate that is what this thread has turned out to be.

If you need to host images, there are eleven million websights out there that will allow you to do so. Once such sight is www.villagephotos.com , check the spelling. If you have to host anything else, which I couldn't understand, send it to Cucumba through Email and stop complaining about it. I've wondered from the beginning if this was just one clan trying to flame another one, and I'm almost certain that it is now. Come up with some proof or just stop trying. Responding to trolls and taking us off track is insubstantial.

Hacking is a very serious allogation, so stop playing around. Either come out and admit you have no evidence or send it or send it to Cuc.

The point I was going to get at, Sonic, was that people would WANT to assault a clan if their memebers behaved as such. I was in work earlier and couldn't really give all the details, of course.

I should've mentioned this in the first place. Sorry for contributing the spamalicious content.

In any case, I'll take heed of the warning. Unfortunately, this much is true: if you have a firewall and you run a dedicated half life server, that means there are open ports, and that means there are ways to get in and cause a ruckus.

Unfortunately, I didn't believe any of this either...till I read the bit about the models folder not being deletable because it was "in use."

Viruses don't usually do these "total instant crash" things right away though. Usualy they sit in your system for a while and cause various other screwups before total shutdown.

Jesus. People say they have WinXP Pro, but not Norton AV. Sheesh. Shell out the fifty bucks, it's well worth it.

A theory: Does Ox share ESF files? It is possible that one guy from the group got a file that you all use infected and it got sent around. That would explain why the clan as a group is having issues.

I also wouldn't put it past those "noobish members" of Ox I encountered to be the ones with the Kazaa running all day and night downloading porn and Dubbed GT eps and filling their drives out the ass with SARS-esque viral infections.

That's the only thing I can think of. Sorry.
