Thanks for posting if you know someone whou would like to join me just PM me or here or on the mod DB(Blackdragonstory)...Also the game is called spining heroes....based on beyblade but it will be on our way but not far from reality...:D


PS:We sure need some animators and first of all some modelers....

Hey could you tell me what programs do you use....ex:animations,models?And what format the video must be on mods DB....

Maps: 3DS MAX
Models: 3DS MAX
Animations: 3DS MAX
Textures: Photoshop

Off course that's for ESF, since we hacked the engine into using different formats. For a new Half Life mod it should be like this.

Maps: Valve Hammer Editor
Map Textures: Photoshop and Wally
Models: Milkshape 3D
Animations: Milkshape 3D
Model textures: Photoshop

You can still make models and animations in 3dsmax for any mod.. you just have to download the wunderboy SMD exporter.

Eh, if they can figure out how to model, they can read a simple readme telling them where to drop the file. :p

I suggest using the UDK. Its preety much the best thing out there ATM.

I have played Unreal, lol. I know what kind of game it is and I can't believe that so many different type of mod are made out of it. It's ****ing amazing :O

Its not mods that are made from the UDK. Its Stand Alone games. the UDK is the game engine code, not something that relies on the engine to work like the HL SDK.

Its not really modding its creating a brand new game.

oO... dam is right bout 3ds max, you can use it for any mod, it has so many exports for various programs, doesnt matter if its animated in a diff program, Id suggest if your gonna make 3d models, max is probably the best program out there hands down, **** anything else XD
