How about makeing the watter bigger so it goes below the land?

tryed that and that is how the screenshot bug stopped taking efect in my map but the other one remains

i ment the screenshot bug that takes screenshots if you face a certain direction but that one dosent bug me no more
but i can still WALK on the botom of the watter

It is a known bug with the scale down. It happens with all ESF maps. It may or may not be fixed in 1.3.

arent you supposed to be able to walk at the bottom of the rivers? beacuase at the bottom is were the land is, so in actuality doesnt it make some sense that u can walk at the bottom of a ocean or river if there is land there? o_O

no on the bottom its the same as walking on land there is no water resistance at the bottom your not really even in water at the bottom

yea i noticed that too but i made a flowing river WITH water pysics. and i never had that screenshot bug

If it really bothers you, you can make an AAATRIGGER brush along the bottom of the river. When you tie it to TRIGGER_PUSH and set the right yaw for the push, you can have it push you up off the ground.

No it's there since 1.2 for me. Btw this bug makes ppl stay under water and stay alive because it's like they're not under water. Optional, I think it would just annoy ppl if they went underwater and started jumping.

if you want water physics just duplicate your whole river tie to
entity: func_water
render mode: texture
FX ammount: 0

and place it exactly where your river is it worked for me

lets say u made a ocean right, but didnt make the block for the water hollow, and then just tied it to func_water like normal, would it still give you the underwaater walking bug? ;/

or is it that the land at the bottom of the water cuases the game to like ignore the fact that your under water entirely? o_O

actualy i just made it whit the normall watter texture no tie to entity things since it is more a moat round the castle
ill try some things and edit this post if i cant fix it ill just leave it and start to post some pics of the map be4 i get it done and uploaded
