Because knife is the ultimate tool for showing suffering to every one emo style, but yet stay alive and then tell everyone that his life sucks so much that he can't even kill himself.

Anyways, let's get back on topic, coz we went a little off.

In the first episode of DB he got shot in the head, not long after he took an axe to the scalp, even if he stabbed himself with it, the blade would just break =P

Technicalities aside, it's a pretty good drawing if you don't have a lot of experience (yet), but I prefer the hair on the edit =]

I guess it depends on the blade of the knife. Because if i remember correctly, Trunks cut up frieza pretty badly with his "Knife"...
And yeah i like the Enix's edit on the hair too, thats some true Emo look.

I think Goku also explains the amount of 'armor' his skin is in that episode.
Frieza wasn't a saiyan. Sure he hate some metal parts on em', but I think a saiyan's skin is tougher than that.
I think that Goku blocking all of those sword attacks with his suped' up finger says enough.

Frieza wasn't a saiyan.

Yet Frieza's flesh could get punched with the force of a train, and thrown into mountains and hit by energy beams, without bruising like a peach.

Goku SSJ was stronger than Metal Frieza anyways, he could have picked up trunks' sword and done the same thing.

Meh Goku put a barrier round his finger. Its shown by the aura. Thats why he could block the sword without taking damage.
