and the split screen would work better with 3 cameras was what I was trying to say, just read what I said. I did not say there should be one covering the whole screen, I was saying there should be three.
1= follows P1 (appears at P1 part of the split screen)
2= follows P2 (appears at P2 part of the split screen)
3= follows both players, and when they are close it takes over the whole screen so both players can see. when they are out of distance it turns back into split screen

there is NO point in having split screen when you are inches away from each other >_>

Online play woudln't kill me...Since my ps2 can't even go online..I hope they rework that raditz cutscene because that was poorly executed, though I assume that a WIP. The graphics and effects are great, but the fighting is looking a little one sided seeing the people play. Then again, game review videos aren't always the best gameplay showcases...

What impressed be was that you can snipe a player across the map with a ki attack ^_^

Yea i liked the fights that were not so 1 sided,like gohan and picolo's.This game looks promising.I want it as well but i want it when its done and has been made to its full potential.(wishfull thinking,i know).

its getting closer, maybe we can get it earlier! gamespot is usually close.

edit, some more stuff i felt like posting.

The fighting system in Tenkaichi flows a bit more smoothly than in previous Budokai games. In past games, the action would stop for a beam struggle or dragon rush, but this time, all those moves are integrated seamlessly into the fight. It makes the battles move a bit quicker, and it removes the rock-paper-scissors rush system found in Budokai 3. The controls haven't changed much in Tenkaichi, which is a good thing. You can still fly all over the place and send powerful energy blasts at your opponents, and the melee is as fast as ever.

The graphics look sharp and detailed, and although the environments look somewhat flat, they fit the source material just fine. The characters look great, especially when you switch back and forth between their many different ki forms. All the fighters are fully voiced, so you can expect to hear the requisite shouts and screams as the characters blast one another about each stage.

Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi is shaping up to be another step forward for the series. The new characters and larger stages will give you lots of new content to explore, and the character customization and Z-item collection will give you plenty of incentive to keep fighting. We'll bring you more updates on the next DBZ game before it ships this November.

How strange, first they say 'you can't transform in-battle', and then they say that. Maybe they changed it, or maybe they meant something else as the 'different ki forms', although I have no idea what it could be.

The Z-Item Collection should be fun, they had it in Buu's Fury and it was decent.

Z item collection? I played buu's furry, but I forget what it was..Is it the finding items/equipments and using it/equipting it to your character? I hope story mode is like that.

No it's finding significant items from the series and movies (Broly's mind control device, the powerpole, Yajirobe's katana etc...) and then when you got them all you half-unlocked Gogeta.

There was also a Mr. Satan version where you had to collect all the Satan merchandise to fully unlock Gogeta for story mode.

Has anyone checked out the latest intro for this game yet. The video was just released/uploaded at gamespot today.

It left me simply speechless. I think it's definitely the best intro ive ever seen for a db/dbz/dbgt game. The music was great as well in my opinion.

Wow. That intro was ****ing unbelievable. It was like cg and cell shaded and...just wow.... Finally, my hope that there may one day be a good dbz game has been rekindled.

The intro was pretty cool, I love the look, they should make the in-game graphics optional so you can switch between that and cel-shading.

I dont think they said you cant, just we assumed you cant, no one from Spike actually said that you cant.

If the framerate is too low or you just get a black screen then click on 'change media settings' and switch it to something higher or lower.

Meh i had to change the Buffer thinggy up to 30 then it worked fine :yes: .

That Clip was awesome, that would make an great "real" life movie ^^.

I really want that Game now.
