Here is my theory on transformations.

I think that if there are no in-game transformations, you choose which form to play as...like a costume. However, you begin the fight in your first form. Then perhaps a small conversation between the two characters are held like in the budokai games. Some of which actually relate to each other.

Then you see them both transform into the form you selected and the battle begins.

You know if this doesnt support online play... for the ps3 they should make a sequel that does... because well... that'd be awesome >_>.... This game needs online play because i dont see how split screen would work well =/

I'm almost positive this game will have online play. The producers talked about it being a possibility. And usually when they do one of those "it might happen so wait and see" things, it usually happens.

They could always do it Zone of Enders style with two players sharing a screen. The gameplay looks the same so maybe that's how they'll do it.

I agree that is an interesting theory, having seen afew movies and pics for the game i must say its looking really impressive. I really hope it delivers, online mode would be an awesome addition. Thing i dont understand is why no-1 has made a DBZ MMORPG...

the game almost certainly has online play, some random japaneese/french site (cant rember which) confirmed it, on the summary of the game they had a tick next to "online"

Hmmm if this has online play then im gonna get the adapter for my birthday,cuz im getting this as an early chrismas present.those screens are nice,i love this game already.P.S.I know cooler was gonna be in this game,but its always good to share progress,at least i thougt so.This game is coming along nicely.CANT WAIT TO PLAY THIS GAME,ONLINE OR NOT.

Ugh, online what do a thing for me...Bro tried the wireless adapter for ps2, didnt work. The next generation consoles better have a less complicated way of doing this...

But you aure its not budokai 3's way of 'going online' when you post your characters and they fight as AI if you type in the code.

well BK3 never counted as online, they always called it "not quite a online function, but the next best thing" or something along them lines

Its WAY different the the previous Budokais.

YOu can Roam around the map and FLY and the map is destroyable in some parts (or everything )

Those screens look nice, the models are crisper than...well...a bag of crisps.

2 thing that bug me though:

1) Zarbon, black scouter...wtf?

just wanted to comment on this.

you cant get crisper than walkers sensations =O

secondtly, overlay that shade of blue, onto the shade of green that his skin is >_> even a basic knowledge of colour should have given you that answer

the anime has the benefit of being able to erase anything beneath the scouter, the game doesnt.
