Done Precaching Resources

Umm hi everyone,
not really that new to ESF, played it once at a network cafe and got hooked. Well i decided i wanted to play it so i borrowed a friends counterstrike disc installed it and then i downloaded ESF and installed that to.
well i get into ESF and go to LAN game, then start a game and it says
LOADING
then it goes into the usual loading sequence with the yellow writin down the bottom left corner and it gets up PRECACHING RESOURCES...........then it goes to DONE PRECACHING RESOURCES, then straight away a sign comes up with an error message saying: Counterstrike Launcher
Counterstrike Launcher has encountered a prob and needs to close sorry for the inconvienience.

Then it sends me back to the destop. PLZ PLZ PLZ help i have been trying to play this gam for three months and i want to play it.

my compy is pretty good4 2.4 Ghz
Windows XP
Nvidia GeForce 4 MX 440
Direct X 9.0
there u go. and wateva u do plz dont say re-install ive done that at least 100 times .

My suggestion would be that if you installed Counter-Strike off the CD, you probably need to update that too. At their website. Which I don't know, since I don't play CS.

got esf working by deleating ALL my esf and counterstike and half life files, yes i mean all of them, lol and then by getting a copy of counterstrike and installing V1.0.0.5 or 1.5. This really is a gr8 mod guys.........KEEP EM COMIN!
oh and when is esf 1.2 comin out? :laff:

hey ppls,
i just got this mod and i have had many problems but i have fixed them, but i cant fix this one.
When i load up mulitplayer, and lan game, create game. it loads then when it says precaching resources and error message comes up saying
"counterstrike launcher problem, sorry for the inconvienence"
Well sumthin along the lines of that

Does any1 plz hav a solution???
