Seriously - i'm thinking about the legality of what this guy is doing. I mean, if someone wanted to, they could simply package ESF in the same way, do a bit of dodgy cd label printing, make a manual and the like and sell it to some unsuspecting schmoe for $75.

the game they're talking about is version rc3, that is the last version with dbz char's so that means that the one that by this game is realy dumb and stuppid.
bfp 1.2 is the newest and better one so this man that added this game is just to lame. :\

I only payed $9.95 for my copy at Circuit City, and it came brand new in a pack with both games Quake 3 Team Arena and the Normal Quake 3 and that was a few months ago.

Anyway, pan, NO. Take it from us. and DONT. Its a rip off. As said before, you can download it for free if you can find a link too it. But seriously. ESF is WAY better then BFP. BFP has no melee, no smooth beam animations. No cool transformation animetions. Just stick with esf, k? =]

Actually, the version he's selling I assume isn't RC3. Looking at the screenshots, it's BFP 1.2 with the Universe model pack or something, it has something stupid like 100 new models, with all the DBZ characters and different versions of them. No idea where the maps are from though, I can't even remember if 60+ community maps were ever made so I have no idea about that.

But yeah, it sounds like the guy has just put together everything that was released for BFP and called it his game. I wonder if it's legal or not. I know for Max Payne, there was an agreement thing that you accepted that said you cannot use the mods for personal profit so I'm wondering if it's the same with Q3. Someone should probably look into it...

No, it's not... Unless you account for hosted LANs + bots... which is really sad.

Oh, and who said there wasn't melee in the mod? There IS melee in the mod... it just really, really, really sucks... you fly around holding a button, and then they're stunned for 3 seconds, so you can beat the crap out of them some more so it's basically 1 melee hit and you're dead....
