These people don't seem to grasp that kazaa lite will you get hella fast download speeds while kazaa will get you somewhere between .01 and 60kpbs on average because of the inefficient file searching system and the spyware that screws up your system resources. Get kazaa lite first, then critique.

Why give up on Kazaa, as long as you play it safe when DLing sutff your fine. And Spyware and Ad-ware aren't dangerous, so don't sweat it. Get Kazaa-Lite and be happy, and what are the odds your going to be one of those peopel who get caught DlLing stuff your not suppose too?

anyway, the RIAA will not stop fining people caught dling copywrited music. but then again I havent heard anything since they've said that their going to do all the stuff which was almost a month ago. and the government doesnt try to steal your comp info (cred. numbers - passwords - etc.) thats why people dont let anyone else place 3rd party spyware on their comp and anything like that, so that hackers cant steal stuff off of your comp.

lets say you got spyware on your comp. spyware places (or something else) it in your registry and it will scan all the keys and find passwords, accounts, etc. also spyware can **** up your comp real badly.

I have kazaa-lite, and i have a list of about 40 things with more sources needed and searching. That's with the fasttrack client on. Every now and then i'll get a dl or 2 at about 2 kb/s

a perfect example of spyware that ****s up your comp..is gator and banzai buddy...both of these are really bad for your comp...and spyware doesnt only give an outlet for ppl to steal your info...but it is also a big contributer to the pop up problems that a lot of ppl have...i recently used that adaware thing and i havent had a popup since..

The reason you get slow downloads is becaues of modem speed as well. People run kazaa off of dial-up, and then you're downloading from them. You're not going to get 20 kps from them.

Also, when you're searching for a file remember to sort the files by bandwidth. If you're downloading from someone with 1 bandwidth, you're not going to get fast speeds.
