People dont answer because you are israeli?? Well I didnt know you where you are from, and I don't care, I think many people didn't know until you said it just now.
And I don't like Israel, and by that I mean the government not the people. I won't go into details though.

People are simply threatened by Israel since of all the terrorism there and therefore have put a stereotype against the entire middle east, Israel is a highly threatened place, thus sharing the country with the Palestinians who have had a grudge against Israel since way back when, as in biblical times.
Now, in some parts of Israel, school buses have a soldier armed with an M-16 for "protection."People are afraid to go to Israel because one of Americas worst flaws: Stererotype. I myself would not mind a trip to Israel, seems interesting enought to actually see two religions, somewhat tolerant of each other(remember I said somewhat, not all the people are tolerant are each other, hence the terrorism rate their) Palestinians are simlpy pissed off at Israel since the UN settled it by just letting them split the country, I myself am in awe of seeing how the two places have their major religions so close to each other, I mean you have the central place to where the Muslims worhip Allah, and the Western Wall of Solomons Temple right down the street!

My feelings socially about Isreal - my friend is from there, my professor from last year went to Israel. They don't like Americans, and I won't hold that against them at all, Americans do so many bad things to that country its no wonder they are in the predicament they are in.
Socially, I am unable to judge, I've never been there, nor have much interest, mainly becuase of the economic state it is currently in. I was supposed to go to Europe last summer, but after the 9-11 Attack, I decided war was eminent and I did no want to risk being stuck in another country.
Politically I pity the country, and many others alike.
But then again, what do I know? The sources I get my information from are not necessarily the most informed or truthful. After all, I'm from Arizona, and when I was in Europe, the italians seemed keen on thinking I was a cowboy, that our culture still revolved around the Old West. They made guns with their hands and said "Pow Pow!." They were clearly misinformed, so whos to say I haven't been misinformed as well?

I don't hate them! Infact I think its sad people get angry at all of them... Its nto the inocents fault. Its people liek Sadam and Osama Bin Laden who are making this happen, and hwy they suffer. I know the war between isreal and pakastien? I think thats who it is. Is not helping either... I feel sorry though its not people liek you who are oding this its the few people who think they are better then eveyrone else, when infact eveyrone else is better then them!

you guys are completely correct...stererotyping is how everything of that sort happens, seems that once we get attacked from a muslim, we hae them all, along with the area they are in, not right as i would say if you got stuck up at walmart by a husky blond guy would ou think that wal mart is a place full of husky blond guys who stick you up?

I think you are misinformed about Israelis not liking americans, that is really weird. And if it is true then that is just plain stupid. Without USA there would be no such thing as Israel it would be called Palestine. America has gave more money, and weapons to Israel than any country I can think of.
PS: magus i dont know how you can talk about how bad sterotypes are and then go and use them yourself, I think you know what I mean.

The hurt's can be one of your friends one of your family.....
And it is all about just beacause they think that it is their land....
It's all biblical though. Honestly it talks in the bible about all the countries coming against israel and how an army of over a million (i pretty sure it was 1 or more million) would come against Israel. I mean, seriously look it up. I am not promoting a gospel here but if you want to understand at ALL whats gonna take place in the end, read Revelation. It's confusing but it is very descriptive.
