dedicated server

i use gamehost to host my servers, i run both the 24*7-Militia and 24*7-Assault, soon to run 24*7-ESFSERVER
Gamehost doesnt load the game, i need a command line to start the game as a dedicated server, on a dual t1.. help meeee

ugh, I'll bump it for you. I really have no idea. I remember running a Soldier of Fortune 2 Server. That was easy though cause I could just click on the "dedicated server". =\

hi,

i was using GameHost too , just before i've learned how to create and maintain a Win2000 service ...

so u need a server.cfg file to set some specific ESF server parameters , and u need a command line like :

\Half-Life\hlds.exe -game esf -console +port 27500 +maxplayers 16 +map esf_namek

that's work perfectly for me


u can take a look at this thread too, if u want to know how to make a file to fill your dedicated server with some ESF-Bots ... :laff:
