I know that his name is Shenron and yes Dende did improve the dragon but still you could revive o person only once. Only the dragon from Namek Morunga can revive someone more times.

I think it's two, Recoome and Kid Buu. Three if you count Freeza in Future Trunks' timeline. Apparently the others were only 'defeated' by him.
