well, FOX is makeing a dbz movie, it will never be as good as the uncut japanase movies, but it should be cool anyways

the sad thing is that the dbz movie chould be VERY good, just look at lord of the rings and the matrix, both looked very good and with todays cam tricks they can get ppl do to Chi blasts etc and fight fast with no prob


.. of coruse the movie will most likely be a 5 min long ****o with bad actors and no sfx...


I think if the esf fourm got toghter we chould make a better now mwahaha

Come on, you have to hold on to a little hope! Fox have already made some pretty good movies, if they pick a director and writer who know a lot about DBZ it could turn out OK. The problem is, will the director and writer know a lot about DBZ? Now I'm worried!

Well....it IS Fox we're talking about.....they made the ALIEN movies...they did predator.....

if the movie gets a large enough budget, a decent director and action coreographer, they can pull it off.

i'm hoping they just go with an original plot or something..
retelling the furiza saga for the 12th time over is getting old..

Of course, 20th Century Fox made Alien Ressurection and Predator 2 too, Chimp.

No one will be the right Goku, Vegeta, Gohan etc.

The logitics for supplying enough hairspray to get the 'doo's right alone is frightening ;D

Besides, you know it will degenerate into a martial arts film with a few flashy effects for good measure and famous names so the rabid 10 year old fans get a kick in the pants.

This is what happans when ppl get ahold of rights to japanase animation, to put it simply, it-gets-FUKED-UP

The street fighter film sucked toal ass and gave Ryu a hand job

but the anime films of Street fighter ruled all

Van Damage is just another dancer-turned commartial "artist". See Patrick Swayze in Road House for a similar performance.

Even Jackie Chan is more of a stuntman/peking opera clown than a martial artist.

Jet Li is the best Movie Martial Artist IMHO, and he would suffer horribly as a Z warrior.

first of this movie could go eather way though i think that it will suck bad because its not the same as an anime it will take the hole purpuss of dbz if its real people i mean whos ganna look good with gokus hair except goku in a drawing, if they were to put it in a drawing form it just might look good (keyword might), then they have the problem of what the movie is going to be based on will it be after gt or before gt or will it be over a saga thats the biggest challenge people working on the movie will have to make its just not he same
