Dark Eden

Last week I found out about a FREE MMORPG called Dark Eden.

At first I thought "Oh, free MMORPG, it's probably crap" but after an hour of playing I loved it. It's simple to learn all the controls and the interface is customizable with optional transparent displays and sizes. I suggest checking it out.

The game is international so there is a large population of people speaking another language but there are quite a few english speaking players around the game. Also, if anyone is already playing the game, share your character names/races & other info so we can meetup in-game or something.

Hm.. Had to register to even see screenshots--totally stupid..

They forgot to remove Korean unicode from the English page, so it asks you to install Korean fonts every time you load anything..

Parts of the main site just say "We'll update it later,"

Well, let's hope the game itself is fun.

Yeah, the site is pretty bad, but the game is good & the in-game english is pretty good, compared to what I've seen on other translated games

OH noes! Me R not able to understand Korean. I cant even view the screenies for lack of account, bah. IS there a translation program ingame for when people speak non-enlish (or for the korean's sake -- non-korean)? I dont feel like pulling out the big dusty language book :\

No, there are english speaking people on the game. Most players speak Korean, some speak Spanish, Porugese, German, etc...

It's mostly Korean, Spanish, and English.

Great, i need to find how to say "I do not understand your language, sorry." for each of those languages. From what i see, it doesnt look like its hard to level up. What's the limit?

hmm....... I would try it if the screenshots were more impressive, and downloading stuff at 30 kb/s (slow for cable) ....... just doesnt seem worth it

I just tried it--very dissapointing.

The text is badly written, badly translated, and badly formatted--the text goes off the windows and wraps around with like.. "Blah Blah Bla
H."

The graphics are ancient style (I'm talking Fallout 2 age, here.)

It has some decent music, but the game is overall very uninteresting.. :/
