Cs Left handed Guns

The other day i downloaded some really kool custom guns,but when i use them im game they are held in the left hand!Does anyone know how i can make it be in the right hand cause the left hand thing bothers me for some reason.

I haven't played CS in donkey's years, but if I recall there's a checkbox in the options somewhere that allows you to use weapons right-handed.

I think thats only on the retail version cause its not on mine.

wouldnt this be more appropriate in teh counter strike forums....

anyway, yes that checkbox will make the models that were previouly wrong corrected, but it would also screw up his other models that werer on the right.

heres what u do.

you have 2 types of first person hand models. the regular kind and the _r kind. for arguments sake lets say you used the mp5
you would have
v_mp5.mdl
v_mp5_r.mdl

simply take that _r and put it on the other file.
v_mp5_r.mdl <------- take the _r from this one
v_mp5.mdl <--------- put the _r here

that should solve your problem.

ok , the most people prefur the left hand guns , if you switch to the right hand , the rest of your guns will be on the left , unless every gun you have is on the left , btw. its +commandmenu or go to console and look for it..*

For modded guns when you set em up theyre left hand...dotn worry Ive been through it...set ur guns to left hand and modded guns will appear in your right hand. Itsl just vice-versa no biggie.

hey guys, i thaught ide just say, that some models that are released, some of them dont have left/right models, so u gotta b careful on whitch ones u get
