Crash when using high resolutions in XP

I just got my new kick a$$ computer and the first thing I did was load up ESF. I tried to set the resolution on 1280*960 and went to go make a LAN game. But before it finished loading, the game just crashed randomly. It works in 1024*768.

oo oo that happened to me! but i did something in options then video like cross off this box in the corner and it is fine
