Counterstrike Problems

Now before i get flamed by about everyone here I'd like to point out this- I am WELL AWARE this mod is EARTHS SPECIAL FORCES not COUNTERSTRIKE. I tried many Counterstrike forums, and I've noticed others have the same problem yet no solution has been found. Anyway here it is:

After about 10 minutes Counterstrike causes a random disconnect from your ISP. Yeah, thats it, I've heard it soo many times its angering me. it didnt bother me until it started happening to me a few weeks ago. When I'm playin CS I get an error that says SOMETHING PACKSEND: NO ERROR then it quits HL and im disconnected from the net. Apparently others have had this problem too. Basicly what I am wondering is if someone else out there has had this problem and if there is a way to fix it.
I was also told this problem could be related to VAC, installed after version 1.5 of CS. Possible, but since it started for me a few weeks ago its unlikely. Anyway if this is against the 'Forum Commandments' then mods, please close this and let me continue my searching for answers.
By the way, this happens for NO other games or mods. Only Counterstrike.

try changng your video-mode. if it doesnt work, try uninstalling Counter-Strike and reinstalling it. if THAT doesnt work, try r-oinstalling the whole Half-Life

Well thanks for the suggestion but it didnt last too long before I started getting those damn errors and disconnects again. It just really bugs me that Valve or the CS team has done NOTHING to help it. No patches or anything, and I've heard of a LOT of people complaining of this bug on CS related forums. so its just pissin me of ya know? (>.<)

things dont JUST start happening, u probably ****ed with something you shouldnt have and now its acting up. supersaiyanchris is right, install all that again and leave it alone. also, if u instaled any hax or tried to instal them, serves u right. if this indeed did just start happening out of nowhere then reboot your entire operating system and instal half life, then counter stirke again on a clean slate

Uhg, I didnt install any freegin hacks. God. I said that this happens to other people. They've all tried reformatting. So obviously it IS something that just started happening. Its a bug and it bothers me and other people. If you wanna sit there and accuse me of hacking, then I dont need your help. Thank you.

hmm , perhaps it just dont work well with counterstrike, im just assuming that though.
Isnt the cs keycode compatable with hl? (i know the blueshift is)
If so, "obtain" a copy of halflife, use your counterstrike cd code and try that?

Well I found a slight but unacceptable fix- turn on Software mode. I have high quality models instaled for my CS so that dosn't work very well. btw Seph what exactly do you mean? Do you mean that HL dosnt work well with CS or visa versa? I think I see what you mean. I was thinking of 'obtaining' a copy of Counterstrike retail then trying to use my HL key to use on it. I'm not sure if it'll work but I could try. Though an immediate acceptable fix would be nice. Everywhere I search on Google these bug reports get bigger and bigger. Its pretty f'n annoying. It could be just counterstrike deciding not to like something that your comptuer is doing. I have had halflife do many wierd and outstanding things. I've tried every single thing on the planet to fix them and they didn't fix until one day halflife decided my computer was ok again. Nothing changed and I know how you feel with people telling you that you did something. I reformatted twice and tried a different hard drive as well. I feel your pain man but there aren't many people out there that can help you. Valve is crap for tech support.

Ahh thanks scorcher hearing you say that makes it a little better. Except why cant Valve SEE that this is happening to a LOT of people?! I mean you would think they would do SOMETHING about it.

just a tiny question, i think i know whats going on. Have you reformatted recently?

Eh no not for a few months. I need to do it soon but it wont make a difference cause it'll still happen >.<

btw,also make sure that your internet connection doesn't have an idle disconnct time,I didn't turn it off before and it always disconnected....5 minutes....
