could not load library cl_dll client etc. etc. HELP!!

whenever i click on the console after starting half life, it says that it could not load library console cl_dll client or somethin like that. Hep please!

Welcome to the forums.

If it could not 'load' the library, it 'could' be a corrupt client.dll file. A simple reinstall should fix this.

i have exactly the same problem but reinstalling doesnt work. can someone help plz.

I just took another mod's client.dll file ex. firearms and copied it into the cl_dlls file in efs and it worked
