I just recently got my friend into ESF. We downloaded ESF (beta 1.0 & 1.1 patch), but he needed the counter strike patch. We went the Counter Strike web site to try download it, where it tells us to go to file planet. We download the pack, which has steam & patches for both Half Life and Counter Strike. We installed it, but the patch isn't taking effect. Little Help?

Hmm.... you have Half-Life or Counter Strike? If Half-Life get 1.1.1.0 patch, and install to your Half-Life folder. If Counter-Strike, download 1.6 patch, and install to correct folder. But search. I'm sure this has been answered many times kid. I personally dont know how to use CS with ESF, so you'll have to wait for an answer or search this board.

I have ESF + CS, so what you have to do is update CS to 1.5 (haven't tried 1.6 but it should work) then install ESF and that should work

1.6 is Steam only I thought, so it must be 1.5 .
