Clans

I hate clans. I've never liked clans because there is always some one in that clan who's a complete a-hole. For every clan I've been in I've quite because of one person. Consider it like a child being neglected. I don't trust anybody anymore, with an exception of a few.

Well look at it this way.. When people join a clan they are looking for people they can hang around with in a game they like.... Also they are looking for some way to extend their fun in the game... from it being talking to some people or being able to be part of a bigger whole and looked at as a better player do to a tag or a respect gained by the clan in the past... So just b/c you do not think clans are worth having around... keep it to your self there is more then enough of good people in clans who are not worth bad mouthing with your general statement of them......

I havent really been here long so I really dont know how the Clans are here but I have always liked Clans just different people who have different goals and other reasons of doing things .

I see the good points in clans,and the bad points

PROS:
-Sense of belonging
-Have friends
-Teamwork(yes I helped someone by keeping a guy busy while he was charging a big bang)

CONS:
-There can be complete a-holes in clans(I know one,but not spilling it much,because he isnt here!)
-Management
-Some people believe they have no life

But then that can be amended when needed.

BTW,does ape clan have a server??I wanna play in there for a while,need to get used to my 300 ping.At locales I r0x0red the best clan here(ESF clan,3 on 1 melee and beams on LAN)

I couldent have said it any better I totaly agree , If of anything I think Clans bring friends together.

Doodie that was quite the entertaining story...I feel for u. Clans are good things, not only do they give people others that they know are good matches for them in fighting but they also help each other become better players. Clans do have problems like any group of friends, there are *******s and such but you'll have that. Clan matches are also fun (never been in one but i assume they are) the reason they don't happen as much is because this mod is still fairly new.

i would say that there are no offensives in N-GSF and we are less of a clan and more of a group anyway. we are a cross-gaming and if we appear anywhere and be a-hole, i (or chicken) will kick them out

and we are in for the earth league

The >FACT< is that clans have always been there and will continue to be there... DO NOT judge "ALL" clans based on your experience with "a" particular clan.

Some clans are good and friendly ones, while others are a bunch of people who gang up on n00bs. Once again I stress on the point that not all clans are alike.... if you had a bad experience with one clan, that doesn't mean the rest of the clans out there are like that. Some may be snobby, some may be waiting with a welcome mat... if you want to join a clan, first decide what type of a player you are and join a clan that most matches your style/level of playing.
