This is a clan banner I made for my friend-

I dunno. For some reason I don't like it. I think it's too busy, and uncomfortable to look at. But hey, that's just me. I like what you did with the text though.

I think it's the fact that it's "liquid" and everything looks really hard, and set in place. Except the text, that looks like it's the moving kind from a horror film. If that makes sense.

I'll be honest.. grunge brushes don't remind me of fluidity... but this obviously wasn't the point of the banner.

Seems rather bland;

Okay, so you have nice typography. Thats about where it ends. I saw an ad for your clan with that banner, I wouldn't look at it for more than a second. Scrape this, and start over, keeping the following in mind:

1) What are you representing?

• • What type of clan do you belong to? FPS? MMORPG?
  • What games do you play?

2) More natural dimensions; the ones currently used are awkward.
3) Color. Black and white, in this case, is b-o-r-i-n-g. This is a clan! For a game! Games these days are all shiny and nice looking, and youre advertising your clan using black and white? Slap some color into that work. Consider working with nice screenshots and some cool effects, or something.

That's quite nice to hear from you.

It's my 2nd attempt at grunge brushing... and that technique as a whole
But, that doesn't matter
What does matter is...
I was going for a hard background, icy-like, with a fluid text for a contrasting feel.

Idk if you can see it, I used many tones of blue as well. I tried to make it look a bit hard and cold-like with a fluid text.
