'Choose desination location' problem

When it asks me what folder i want to install the patch on I click on the
Valve/steam/steamaps/*******@***.com/halflife. but it says

"ESF COULD NOT BE FOUND ON SELECTED DESTINATION. PLEASE CHOOSE AGAIN."

I thought about it and i think that i have only downloaded the patch rather than the Whole ESF.

What i have atm is ESF beta 1.2.1 patch.

Should i have dowloaded something before that?

Yes, u need ESF 1.2 beta client. There is two different versions of the game to download.

#1. ESF Lite Version Has everything but the mp3s. This is a smaller download, 133.8 MB.
#2. ESF Full Version Has everything including mp3s. This is the bigger download, 214.8 MB.

Having a version without the mp3s takes alot of mb out of the installation. That doesnt mean the game it self wont work, there just songs, nothing more. The mp3's are just a few techno songs that come with the Full Version installation.
