Chivalry: Medieval Warfare - Due out October 16th

For crying out loud, you didn't read anything, the only armor that could weight 100 lbs was JOUSTING armor, in which you're on a horseback and all you have to do is keep your lance straight, it's not meant for free combat, however, on proper combat like depicted in the game, the armors weighted 50 ******* pounds for ****'s sake.

Yeah this thread went way off topic. Chivalry comes out today, to me it seems like the lovechild of Call of Duty and Skyrim! Looks dope. :yes:

It was before SKyrim.

Age of Chivalry came out in 2007 and was in development long before that.

Okay then, with that point taken into consideration, I suppose I'm going to officially describe it as the lovechild of Call of Duty and Elder Scrolls to be politically correct! The game looks awesome and I for one want to try!

Maybe the swings are that slow because you are not always in the ready-to-strike stance. if you watch through a few of the interviews with the lead dev he talks about there being a wind up and that one can strike during the enemies wind up to cause the enemy player to flinch. This may be why the swing speed is so slow.

It's getting it's own E-Sports League, Official and all.

It's crazy fun, I put over 30 hours into it already. It has such a high skip cap, you wouldn't believe it.
