Chatbox post notification pluggin

Cuase it anoys the hell out of me to see every post made and edited added to the chatbox.

I mean we have AJAX for that.

I preferred the way the EVO Chatbox (that is what the old one was called, right?) handled post notifications - with a separate pane to the right of the main chat area - but am not entirely against having the post notifications handled in the way they are now. I do not, however, like that it counts edited posts as "new" posts; if there's a way to deal with that, I doubt it'd be as big a nuisance for those who are currently put off by it.

They clog up the chatbox. We need a similar system to what we had with the last forum version.

Anyway it is kind of annoying... the way it was before when it had it's own box or pane or whatever it was looked much nicer and tidier.

You do realize that the multiple "new" posts when editing a post is a bug, right? Which is being fixed in the next version of the chatbox.
