well sumthin went wrong with windows data writing because i tried to write to a blank cd but it said there was no cd in the drive, so anyway, i reinstalled the latest driver, and now wen i put a cd in to write on it says D:\ inaccessable or something to that effect, need help asap, thanks ^_^

Did u try looking inside the mechine it self to see if it was pluged in corectly, or pluged in at all? Could be loose maybe.

i suggest you use a CD-Recordable. Easier to work with. And they work on just about every cd drive. my best guess is that its the CD not your computer. Either use another cd-rw or try a cd-r. If you try a cd-r and it fails you then i cant help you.
