CANT RUN HALF LIFE!!!!

i have downloaded sef full install and i have bought half life but when im gonna run it nothing happens so pz help!!!!!!!! :scared:

ok, so when you run halflife, does anything happen at all?
No error messages, does the computer even try and load it?

well when i press new game and take easy and press play nothings happening ive even waited 3h for something to happen

Delete your .gcf's and Half-Life folder in the Steam directory and redownload the game.

Make sure that in your Steam folder under SteamApps\Email\Half-Life\ you have the esf folder INSIDE the Half-Life folder. Make sure your half life is all up to date by Steam. You just need to make sure that esf is a "sub-directory" under the Half-Life and nothing is misplaced. Also make sure you don't have duplicate Steam folders
