Can't connect with steam -_-

when i try to connect to a server, i got a window with info about video games Oo

yeah, but i don't have the "half life" game, i only have a cd with "half life: counter strike" and the game still didn't ask me to input my cd key Oo

well most people who get that do not have legitimate cdkeys
